Riomaggiore, the village with colored buildings
Riomaggiore is a village and comune in La Spezia, situated in a small valley in the Liguria region, Italy. The village dates from the early thirteenth century and is known for its historic character and its wine produced by its vineyards. The town climbs up along the ridges overlooking the sea, and it is characterized by the typical stone houses with colored façades and slate-roofs.
