Today, 25 March we celebrate the Annunciation, celebration which marks the moment when the Angel Gabriel (God is my strength), proclaims to the Blessed Virgin Mary, that she will become the mother of Jesus Christ.
The Angel was addressed to the Blessed Virgin Mary with these words:
“Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed are you among women … The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee, for this the holy one which will be born of thee, Son of God will call”.

The annunciation is the first celebration confirmed in documents, dedicated to Virgin Mary.
This celebration was introduced in Rome by Pope Leo II (681-683).
The Annunciation is celebrated every year on 25 March during Lent.
Have a blessed day and only good news!
